Oil for Frying

Coconut Oil for Everday Use

When frying food, use coconut oil instead of butter or olive oil.

Coconut oil is more heat resistant and therefore is more unlikely to go rancid when frying at a higher temperature. It is a medium chain fat therefore the body can break it down into fuel much easier than the longer chain fats and according to extensive research, it supports the thyroid.

When buying your coconut oil, the cold pressed extra-virgin is the one, it is perfect for baking and cooking Asian foods. Also a tablespoon, eaten how you like, a day has benefits for the body.
