Eye Lids Swollen!

Question;

I have hypothyroidism so I read as much as I can to better myself. Recently, and it happens for no apparent reason, I woke up with one and sometimes both of my eyes lids swollen! It's not nice, and sometimes I have to cancel work. I am an after school teacher and It's not fair to my students or me. Do you have any ideas on how I can offset this or even bring the swelling down? The last time this happened my doctor prescribed me prednisone, I know it's not good for you, but I needed a quick fix, (it took three days) I would really like to know if you've heard of this before and if so do you have any suggestions?

Answer;

I have never heard of this problem related to thyroid before, but I would check out the lymphatic system. Do you use a re-bounder? Do you walk daily? Movement is the mechanics behind a functioning lymphatic system. Anti-oxidants are also highly recommended. There are practitioners who do lymphatic drainage. This may be another option. Also, check food allergies.
