Vitamin C, Iron and TSH Levels

Question;

I have read that vitamin c if taken as an extra, depletes iron in the body. Is it true?

And does vitamin c reduce TSH level?

Answer;

That is a commonly held view. My suggestion would be to get your vitamin C from fruit, raw vegetables and fresh juices in order to take in vitamin C in balanced amounts that don't interfere with other nutrients.

I don't know if vitamin C supplements reduce TSH levels.
